I've been writing short stories and novel length books since I was 12. For me, writing is neccesary. I write almost constantly, about anything that strikes my fancy. It's the one place I feel like I can do anything. There are no rules except the ones I make for myself. I've been blessed with several mentors who have taken me under their wing and taught me the best way to go about writing.
